Before you start
- Formuler Z-Series Android set-top box connected via HDMI and Ethernet
- Formuler remote control with dedicated EPG, Group, and Record buttons
- Your login details (Username, Password, Server URL) from your IPTV Provider UK WhatsApp message
- Broadband connection of at least 25 Mbps for 4K UHD, or 10 Mbps for HD (Virgin Media, BT, Sky, Vodafone, EE)

Step-by-step setup
Step 1: Launch MyTVOnline 3 (MOL3)
Turn on your Formuler box and launch the pre-installed "MyTVOnline 3" app from the home screen.
Step 2: Open Content Manager
Press the Menu button on your Formuler remote, navigate to "Content Manager", and select "Content Sources".
Step 3: Add Service Provider
Select "Add Connection". Choose "Xtream Codes API" (recommended for fastest channel zapping) or "Portal / Stalker".
Step 4: Enter IPTV Provider UK details
Set Connection Name to "IPTV UK", enter your Server URL, Username, and Password from your WhatsApp welcome message.
Step 5: Enable Catchup, Timeshift & PVR
Ensure "Catch-up TV", "Timeshift", and "Auto-Update EPG" are toggled ON. Select Connect.
Step 6: Experience 0.3s channel zapping
MyTVOnline 3 will sync the channel list. Enjoy instant 0.3-second zapping, picture-in-picture, and 7-day TV guide.
Troubleshooting
Should I connect via Xtream Codes or Stalker MAC Portal?
Xtream Codes API is faster, downloads high-res VOD movie artwork, and supports multi-audio commentary tracks (e.g. English stadium audio). If you prefer Stalker Portal, send your Formuler MAC ID (00:1E:B8:xx:xx:xx) to our WhatsApp support to activate it.
Recording live sports stops after 30 minutes
Ensure your external USB drive or SSD is formatted as exFAT or NTFS in Formuler Storage Settings. FAT32 has a 4GB file limit that truncates 4K broadcasts.
Stream freezes or fails during live Saturday 3pm football matches
UK ISPs including Virgin Media, BT, and Sky enforce content filtering and security firewalls. In your Virgin Media online portal, turn off "Web Safe" (Virus Safe & Child Safe). On BT Home Hub, turn off "BT Web Protect". On Sky broadband, set "Sky Broadband Shield" to 18 or turn it off. Alternatively, set your router or device DNS to 1.1.1.1 (Cloudflare) or 8.8.8.8 (Google).
My login credentials are not accepted
Check for typos in the Server URL, Username or Password (they are case-sensitive). Ensure there are no accidental spaces copied from WhatsApp. If it still fails, message us on WhatsApp and our 24/7 UK team will verify your account immediately.
